Early Relational Trauma and Attachment Disturbances
Developed in collaboration with Dr. Bob Marvin, Director of the Circle of Security Network, this presentation will introduce participants to the Circle of Security, an evidence based attachment framework created by Cooper, Hoffman, Marvin and Powell designed to improve the developmental pathway of children and their caregivers. This workshop aims to increase understanding and awareness of attachment in work with caregivers and children who present with complex mental health needs that stem from a history of early relational trauma and attachment disturbances
Be introduced to attachment theory and research that has practical implications in work with high-risk infants, children and families.
